Hello! I am Hannah a Graphic Designer based in Bristol. I am a hard-working individual and I am looking for my next creative role. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud softwares: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects and XD. I also have previous experience working in design studios as well as individually as a freelancer. I have a particular interest in photomontage and editorial work but enjoy getting stuck into a variety of projects.
EXPERIENCE
Since 2022 I have designed the programmes for ‘Between the Trees’ a folk and science festival based in Wales. I am also responsible for managing the merchandise stand throughout the festival weekend.
My responsibilities would also include:

Meeting regularly with the festival team to discuss the programme and make necessary changes.
​
Keeping to strict deadlines so the programme could be printed in time for the festival and certain pages could be released on social media beforehand.

Communicating with the printers and sending files in print ready format.

Redesigning the charity’s brand, creating a new logo, colour scheme and giving them new font choices.
Redesigning their website to fit with their new brand.
Researching local printers for their new merchandise that they wanted printed for the rebrand.
Presenting the new brand to the board members of the charity.

This employment was a summer internship for ‘Canolfan Abbey Road’ a mental health charity based in Bangor, Wales.

Cooked Illustrations is a creative studio that specialises in science communication. I had a variety of duties throughout my time at the studio.
These included:
Designing editorial work using reports sent in by clients. The purpose of these projects was to make long forms of boring text more engaging by combining the text with images from the illustrators in the studio. (example: GOSH: Visual Notes).

Creating social media posts that align with the company's values for Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter (example: Science Explainers).
​
Finding potential clients, attending relevant events and meeting with clients when needed. Researching current trends and making relevant content that would help possible clients engage with the company.
​
Keeping on top of internal tasks such as: responding to emails, posting on social media and keeping the company’s system organised.
