One of the services that Cooked Illustrations offer is ‘Event Illustration’. Which is where the creative director goes to an event, takes notes and illustrates so this information can then be turned into a piece of editorial work. The purpose of this is to keep a record of what happened at an event but in a more fun and engaging way.

 

I was given notes and illustrations from the ‘Gathering for Open Science Hardware’ event (GOSH) from the creative director to make into a booklet that could be sent to the event organisers. It was a great opportunity to practice designing something from nothing and create the visual language that could be used throughout the booklet.
